Carteret County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 330 PM EDT. * At 241 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Fairfield Harbour to near Havelock to 7 miles southeast of Bogue Inlet Pier, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. These thunderstorms have a history of producing wind damage and winds of 60 to 65 mph. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include...
