* Until 830 PM CDT.
* At 726 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles north of Tiptonville to Ft Pillow, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Dyersburg, Martin, Union City, Humboldt, Ripley, Trenton, Fulton,
Reelfoot Lake State Park, Tiptonville, Newbern, Dresden, Alamo,
South Fulton, Dyer, Halls, Greenfield, Ridgely, Troy, Kenton, and
Rutherford.
This includes Interstate 55 in Tennessee between mile markers 13 and
15.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...southeastern Missouri...and west Tennessee.
