Ripley County in southeastern Missouri... * Until 545 PM CDT. * At 441 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles south of Mountain View to 6 miles west of Alton to near Ballard, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Doniphan, Van Buren, Naylor, Ellsinore, Hunter, Handy, Budapest, Gatewood, Oxly, Fairdealing, Fremont, Grandin, and Briar.
