Description:
At 325 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Truesdale, or 6 miles south of Warrenton, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Treloar, Holstein, Truesdale, Warrenton, Innsbrook, Wright City and
Foristell.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 193 and 200.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for a portion of
east central Missouri.
