Description:
At 826 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Corinth, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 820 PM...quarter-sized hail was
reported 3 miles east-southeast of Kossuth.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Corinth, Savannah, J P Coleman State Park, Pickwick Landing State
Park, Glen, Walnut Grove, Pickwick Dam, Pineflat, Olive Hill, Shiloh,
Farmington, Michie, Guys, Stantonville, Doskie, Pebble Hill,
Strickland, Hamburg, Phillips, and Jobes.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
Mississippi...and west Tennessee.

building.
