Description:
At 1058 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over New Hope, or
near Meadville, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Jefferson, Franklin and east central Adams Counties.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for southwestern
Mississippi.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
