At 551 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near New Wren, or
near Amory, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Amory, Aberdeen, Fulton, Shannon, Smithville, Tremont, New Salem, New
Wren, Evergreen, Nettleton, Hatley, Gattman, Abney, Quincy, Turon,
Mooreville, Wise Gap, Ballardsville, Wren, and Sipsey Fork.
This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 101
and 117.
