Northwestern Spotsylvania County in central Virginia...
* Until 115 PM EDT.
* At 1249 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles
northwest of Spotsylvania, or 16 miles west of Fredericksburg,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Stafford, Fredericksburg, Falmouth, Mine Run, Roseville,
Verdiersville, Garrisonville, Locust Grove, Flat Run, Ramoth,
Heflin, Dunavant, Lake Of The Woods, Ruby, Cookstown, Goldvein,
Widewater, Rhoadesville, Parker, and Burr Hill.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for southern
Maryland...and northern and central Virginia.
