Description:
At 751 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10
miles southwest of Many to 23 miles south of Pineland, or along a
line from 35 miles southwest of Natchitoches to 44 miles southeast of
Diboll, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Fairmount, Yellowpine and Negreet.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT for portions of
northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
