Description:
At 733 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6
miles northwest of Milam to 22 miles southwest of Pineland, or along
a line from 27 miles southeast of Center to 36 miles east of Diboll,
moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Milam, Hemphill, Pineland, Rosevine, Yellowpine, Fairmount,
Columbus, Bronson, McElroy and Negreet.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1200 AM CDT for portions of
northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
