Description:
At 732 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Coushatta to 8 miles west of Zwolle, or along a line from 17
miles east of Mansfield to 27 miles southeast of Center, moving east
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Many, Coushatta, Zwolle, Converse, Allen, Oak Grove, Pleasant Hill,
Noble, Powhatan, Belmont, Pelican, Marthaville, Ajax, Rambin,
Evelyn, Lake End, Hanna, Armistead, Toledo Bend Reservoir North and
Grand Bayou.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for portions of
northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
