At 140 AM EDT/1240 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Jamestown to Albany to 6 miles east of Livingston, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Albany, Jamestown, Russell Springs, Desda, Cartwright, Eli, Snow, Cundiff, Savage, and Ida.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT/400 AM CDT/ for south central and central Kentucky. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
