* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 939 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Weir to 6 miles southwest of Dunmor to 7 miles
northeast of Elkton to 6 miles southeast of Pembroke, moving east
at 80 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Bowling Green, Russellville, Morgantown, Brownsville, Plum Springs,
Memphis Junction, Mount Victor, Crestmoor, Anderson, and Franklin.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for south central
and central Kentucky.
