Description: 
At 934 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles west of Weir to 7 miles northwest of Elkton to Fort Campbell, moving east at 70 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Oak Grove, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Guthrie, Pembroke, Weir, Trenton, Justice, Allensville, Allegre, Everett, and Clifty. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 81 and 92. Pennyrile Parkway near Mile Marker 1.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central Kentucky. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
