* Until 900 PM CDT.
* At 756 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Goddard,
moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Wichita, Newton, El Dorado, Andover, Augusta, Park City, Valley
Center, Bel Aire, Goddard, Maize, North Newton, Sedgwick, Towanda,
Colwich, Benton, Garden Plain, Whitewater, Downtown Wichita, Kechi,
and Andale.

Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 1 and 35.
Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 44 and 77.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
