* Until 600 PM CDT.
* At 456 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sutliff to Springdale to near Lone Tree, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Davenport, Muscatine, Maquoketa, Tipton, West Branch, Durant,
Mechanicsville, Stanwood, Eldridge, DeWitt, West Liberty, Wilton,
Walcott, Lone Tree, Preston, Long Grove, Lowden, Wheatland, Grand
Mound, and Delmar.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 249 and 291.
Interstate 280 near mile marker 1.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern
and east central Iowa.
