Description:
At 1219 AM EDT/1119 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Osceola, or near Mishawaka, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Gulivoire Park, Osceola, North
Liberty, Edwardsburg, Lakeville, Roseland, Indian Village,
Chain-o-lakes, Crumstown, Woodland, Lydick, and Wyatt.
This includes Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 72 and
87.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT/100 AM CDT/ for
north central and northwestern Indiana...and southwestern Michigan.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
