* Until 1230 AM EDT/1130 PM CDT/.
* At 1148 PM EDT/1048 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
La Porte, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

South Bend, Mishawaka, Niles, Buchanan, Gulivoire Park, Granger,
Osceola, Walkerton, North Liberty, New Carlisle, Three Oaks,
Edwardsburg, Lakeville, Roseland, Bertrand, Dayton, Galien, Indian
Village, Union Pier, and Fish Lake.

Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 54 and 87.
Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 5 and 7.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT/100 AM CDT/ for
north central and northwestern Indiana...and southwestern Michigan.
