* Until 1130 PM EDT.
* At 1041 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles northwest of Spencer to 12 miles southwest
of Bloomington, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Bloomington, Spencer, Ellettsville, Cloverdale, Gosport,
Stinesville, Indiana University, Quincy, McCormicks Creek State
Park, Belle Union, Cagles Mill Lake, Devore, and Whitehall.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 43 and 46.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for south central,
central, southwestern and west central Indiana.
