Northeastern Tazewell County in central Illinois... * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 830 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Morton, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... East Peoria, Morton, and Washington around 835 PM CDT. Eureka around 850 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Roanoke. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 between mile markers 23 and 31. Interstate 474 between mile markers 10 and 14. Interstate 74 between mile markers 96 and 113.
Instruction: 
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central Illinois.
