Description: 
At 748 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Montgomery to Newark, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Wheaton, Bartlett, Carol Stream, Romeoville, Plainfield, Hanover Park, St. Charles, Oswego, West Chicago, Batavia, Geneva, Yorkville, Campton Hills, Plano, Sandwich, Sheridan, Roselle, Bloomingdale, Crest Hill, Montgomery, and North Aurora.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central and northeastern Illinois. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
