* Until 630 PM CDT.
* At 544 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Elkhart to near Edinburg, moving northeast at
55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Mount Pulaski, Illiopolis, Niantic, and Mount Auburn around 550 PM
CDT.
Harristown, Latham, and Chestnut around 555 PM CDT.
Decatur and Warrensburg around 600 PM CDT.

Interstate 55 between mile markers 110 and 115.
Interstate 72 between mile markers 111 and 146.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central
Illinois.
