Description:
At 642 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Dover, or near
Princeton, moving northeast at 45 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Princeton Illinois and Interstate 80
in Bureau County.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Ladd, Wyanet, Sheffield,
Tiskilwa, La Moille, Dalzell, Buda, Bureau Junction, Ohio, Cherry,
Neponset, Malden, Manlius, Seatonville, Arlington, and Dover.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 43 and 72.
Interstate 180 between mile markers 2 and 13.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
Illinois.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
