Description:
At 637 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Momence, moving
east at 30 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR MOMENCE.
HAZARD...Three inch hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Kankakee, Bourbonnais, Bradley, Momence, St. Anne, Aroma Park,
Hopkins Park, and Sun River Terrace.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Illinois.
Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.
