northwestern Georgia... Carroll County in northwestern
Georgia... Northwestern Douglas County in north central
Georgia... Central Polk County in northwestern Georgia...
* Until 515 AM EDT.
* At 447 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Fish Creek to near Ranburne, moving east at 55
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Carrollton, Dallas, Buchanan, Villa Rica, Bremen, Temple,
Rockmart, Hiram, Tallapoosa, Bowdon, Mount Zion, Aragon, Waco,
Braswell, Taylorsville, Yorkville, Burnt Hickory Ridge,
Abilene, Cross Roads, and Draketown.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
