At 342 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Fort McCoy to near Inverness Airport, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Pomona Park, Salt Springs, Juniper Springs, Lynne, Lake Delancy, Weirsdale, The Village of Briar Meadow, Fruitland, Ocklawaha, and Moss Bluff.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern and northeastern Florida. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Jacksonville. Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage.
