Description:
At 710 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Farrenburg to near Osceola, moving east at 65
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Blytheville, Osceola, Caruthersville, Gosnell, Hayti, Steele, Luxora,
Keiser, Reelfoot Lake State Park, Tiptonville, Ridgely, Hayti
Heights, Cooter, Dell, Burdette, Bolton, Heloise, Miston, Ashport,
and Ft Pillow.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 55 in Arkansas between mile markers 44 and 72.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 1 and 28.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...southeastern Missouri...and west Tennessee.

building.
