Description:
At 643 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Malden to near Marked Tree, moving east at 60
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Blytheville, Kennett, Osceola, Trumann, Caruthersville, Malden,
Piggott, Gosnell, Manila, Hayti, Marked Tree, Steele, Lake City,
Leachville, Campbell, Lepanto, Senath, Monette, Caraway, and Luxora.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 55 in Arkansas between mile markers 35 and 38, and
between mile markers 42 and 72.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 1 and 28.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...southeastern Missouri...and west Tennessee.

building.
