Description:
At 432 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7
miles east of Corinth to near Saratoga, or along a line from 10 miles
northeast of Nashville to 11 miles east of Ashdown, moving east at 45
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Nashville, Mineral Springs, Blevins, Tollette, Washington,
Saratoga, McCaskill, Ozan, Oakhaven and Bright Star.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT Sunday for a
portion of southwest Arkansas.
