* Until 500 PM CDT.
* At 406 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
9 miles east of Umpire to 6 miles east of Foreman, moving east at
45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Nashville, Mineral Springs, Dierks, Wilton, Blevins, Tollette,
Washington, Ben Lomond, Corinth, Center Point, Saratoga, Oak Grove,
McCaskill, Ozan, Oakhaven, Bright Star, Browntown, Silver Ridge and
Muddy Fork.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT Sunday for a
portion of southwest Arkansas.
