Description:
At 557 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Owens Cross
Roads, or 8 miles east of Redstone Arsenal, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Southern Huntsville, Scottsboro, Redstone Arsenal, Owens Cross Roads,
Hollywood, Grant, Gurley, Section, Woodville, and Pleasant Groves.
