Description:
At 241 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of
New Concord, or 6 miles northwest of Cambridge, moving northeast at
50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Cambridge, Freeport, New Concord, Byesville, Antrim, Old
Washington, Plainfield, Norwich, Gilmore, Otsego, Tippecanoe,
Stillwater, Birmingham, Boden, Kimbolton, Salt Fork State Park,
Clendening Lake and Piedmont Lake.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EST Saturday for a
portion of east central Ohio.
