Description:
At 242 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
Harleton, or 23 miles east of Gilmer, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Jefferson, Berea, Avinger, Lassater and Pruett.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
