Description:
* AFFECTED AREA...417, 418, 432, and 433.
* WIND...Westerly winds 15 to 25 mph gusting up to 35 mph.
* HUMIDITY...13 to 18 percent.
* HIGHEST THREAT...is located along and just east of the
Laramie Range where dry thunderstorms are favored to develop.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Widely scattered virga showers are
expected in the afternoon and evening. These will have the
potential to produce dry lightning and gusty and erratic
winds, with little to no precipitation.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
