...RED FLAG WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT THROUGH 9PM FOR MOST OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE... * AFFECTED AREA...All of southeast Wyoming except the higher mountains where snow cover remains, including fire weather zones 417, 418, 419, 420, 421, 422, 423, 425, 427, 428, 429, 430, 431, 432, and 433. * WIND...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 55 mph. * HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widely scattered showers are expected this afternoon & evening. These will have the potential to produce gusty and erratic winds and a few isolated lightning strikes with little to no precipitation.
