Description:
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 417 and 418.
* WIND...West winds 30 to 50 mph, with gusts up 80 mph.
* HUMIDITY...Between 17 and 22 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
