FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 315, 325, 326, 332, 333, 334, AND 335...
.Gusty southwest winds at 20-30 mph with gusts around 40-50 mph
are expected over parts of southwest into south-central South
Dakota later this morning into the afternoon hours. The minimum
relative humidity will drop as low as 11 percent.
Over southern Campbell County in Wyoming, west winds will
increase to 10-20 mph with gusts from 25-30 mph this afternoon.
The minimum relative humidity will drop as low as 8 percent.
Combined with unseasonably warm temperatures, expect critical
fire weather conditions later this morning and this afternoon.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 325 Custer County Plains,
326 Pine Ridge Area, 332 Badlands Area, 333 Bennett County
Area, 334 Mellette and Todd Counties and 335 Tripp County.
* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts from 40 to 50 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 11 percent.
* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low relative
humidity would produce critical fire weather conditions.

strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
