...CRITICAL WILDFIRE CONDITIONS WILL BE PRESENT FOR INLAND AREAS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA FROM LATE SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY EVENING... .A combination of a dry airmass and very breezy northeast winds on Saturday will align with critically dry, drought-stricken fuel beds to create conditions conducive to erratic wildfire behavior. * TIMING...Late Saturday morning through early Saturday evening. * WINDS...Northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. * IMPACTS...Existing wildfires may behave erratically during the afternoon and evening hours Saturday. Controlling new and existing wildfires will become more difficult for responding land managers and firefighters.
