Description:
At 305 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
over Ciales and Morovis, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 25 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morovis, Florida, Toa Alta, Ciales, Corozal, Naranjito, Vega Alta,
Miranda, Pajonal, Rio Lajas, H. Rivera Colon, San Jose, Galateo, La
Alianza, Barahona, Franquez, Pajaros, Candelaria, Palomas, and
Mucarabones.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
