* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Juncos, Las Piedras and San Lorenzo. * WHEN...Until 800 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 603 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 8.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Although PR-936 (Las Piedras) has been reopened, flooding is occurring over sectors of the highway, particularly near elevated water bodies. Reported affected areas in Las Piedras include Barrio Quebrada Arenas, Barrio Boqueron, Barrio Parceras Viejas and Barrio Parceras Nuevas. River sensors report that Rio Gurabo at Juncos (GUTP4) is at Minor Flood Stage (16.48 ft). Rio Valenciano at Juncos (VALP4) is at action stage (9.59 ft), slightly higher elevations have been known to affect Road 31, Beltran Bridge, near Barrio Beatriz and road 185's bridge. Rio Caguayas at Cerro Gordo (SLKP4), San Lorenzo is also at action stage (11.15 ft). Rio Grande de Loiza at HW 183 (SLNP4), San Lorenzo, is at action stage (11.58 ft). - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
