Description: 
At 234 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles west of Ridgway, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... St. Marys, Ridgway, Force, Benezette, Medix Run, Brandy Camp, Portland Mills, Brockport, Hicks Run, Kersey, and Weedville.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central and north central Pennsylvania.
