Description:
At 559 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest of
Sharpsville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated with a history of producing up to 2 inch
diameter hail.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hermitage, Sharon, Sharpsville, Greenville, Clark, Jamestown,
Fredonia and Sheakleyville.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
