* WHAT...Heavy snow possible above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations up to 10 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...Periods of moderate and heavy snow will combine with low visibilities to create difficult driving conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded. Persons should delay all travel if possible. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
