Description: 
At 856 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hood River, moving west at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hood River, Parkdale, Odell, Dee, Viento State Park, Underwood, Cook, and Home Valley. In Washington this includes State Route 14 between mile markers 51 and 63. This includes the following highways in Oregon... Interstate 84 between mile markers 52 and 68. State Highway 35 between mile markers 74 and 102.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
