Description: 
At 657 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cecil, or 13 miles east of Arlington, moving northwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Boardman, Arlington, Alderdale, Blalock, Cecil, and Roosevelt. This includes Interstate 84 near mile marker 121, and between mile markers 123 and 166.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for north central and northeastern Oregon. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until midnight PDT for south central Washington.
