Description:
At 602 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ski Bluewood, or 23 miles southeast of Dayton, moving northwest at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Wallowa and southeastern Columbia Counties.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for
northeastern Oregon. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until midnight PDT for southeastern Washington.
