Description: 
At 549 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Highland, or 13 miles southeast of Kennewick, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kennewick, Finley, Burbank, and Highland. This includes the following highways... Highway 12 between mile markers 296 and 297. Interstate 82 between mile markers 116 and 125.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for northeastern Oregon. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in effect until midnight PDT for south central and southeastern Washington.
