Description: 
At 527 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Prineville to near Deschutes River Woods. Movement was west at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Tumalo, Terrebonne, Sunriver, Powell Butte, and Deschutes River Woods. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 1 and 10, and between mile markers 6 and 19. Highway 26 between mile markers 19 and 24.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for central Oregon.
