Description: 
At 352 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Telocaset, or 9 miles northeast of North Powder, moving northwest at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... La Grande, Union, Island City, Cove, and Telocaset. This includes the following highways... Highway 82 between mile markers 1 and 10. Interstate 84 between mile markers 261 and 280.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for northeastern Oregon.
