Description: 
At 322 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles northeast of Pondosa, or 20 miles northeast of North Powder, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Union County.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM PDT for northeastern Oregon.
